He was an average person, 16, about 5'5, 150lb. with brown hair and stunning blue eyes. He was still getting to know people at his school. He started liking a lot of his classmates and knew this would be a fun year. His favorite class was gym class. He liked to look at all the guys changing clothes. Many times he would sneak peeks at the guys changing. There was one that caught his eye. He wasn't the only one. Shawn was watching as well. He was more than average, 17, 5'9 and 145 lb. of pure muscle. He had black hair and brown eyes. He was gorgeous. He liked the guys in the class but his attention was on Jason and he knew Jason was looking as well. One day as Jason was dressing from gym, Shawn approached him. There were no other people in the locker room. "I've been watching you watch me dress. I know you are enjoying it." He said. Jason was completely thrown off guard. "My name is Shawn." "I'm Jason." Jason said. He was in shock. "I really don't know how to tell you this, but I want you. And I know you want me. I can tell it in your face." Shawn said as he pulled the front of his pants down. In view was a hairy cock. Jason reached out to touch it, but stopped because he was afraid this might be some scandal to see if he was gay. A lot of people made fun of him because of this. People thought he was, but he tried to make people think he wasn't. "Go ahead. I won't-" He stopped when he heard people's voices. "Give me your phone number. I'll call you tonight and we can get together." He said as Jason recited the number. Then Shawn pulled his pants up and finished getting dressed. Jason did the same. They gathered their things and were gone shortly after. Later that night, Jason was waiting by the phone. At seven it rung. "Hello?" He said. "May I speak to Jason?" "This is he." Jason said. "When would you like for me to pick you up?" Shawn asked. "Now is fine." "Tell me how to get to you house." Jason gave the directions. "Tell your parents that you are spending the night with a friend from school. Give them this number: 555-9936. If they want to call, they will get a you. Deal?" "Deal. See ya soon." Jason said. He hung up. He then went downstairs and asked if he could spend the night with a friend. It was Friday so they said yes. It was 7:30. He had plenty of time to pack. He packed things he would for one night. At eight o'clock, he walked out of the house. A car was pulling into his driveway. It was a blue Mazda Miata. As it pulled in further, the trunk lid popped open. He threw his overnight bag in there. He then climbed the front seat. "Hi." He said as they took off. "Hello." Shawn said as he kept his eyes on the road. Jason started to get the idea he had done something wrong. But, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Shawn stare at him. Jason then started to think he was doing the right thing. After a few minutes, the Miata pulled into a parking lot. "We're here." He announced. The trunk opened again and Jason got his bag. He followed him into the building. After two flights of stairs, the reached an apartment door. He slid a key into the door and opened. They walked in. Jason was surprised at the condition of the room. It was completely stocked with state of the art equipment, from a VCR and TV to a Packard Bell computer. It had everything anybody could have wanted. Jason finally could talk. "Very nice. Do you live by yourself?" Jason asked. "Yeah, my parents died last year and they left me some money, so I got myself an apartment." Shawn answered. "I'm sorry. Where did you get the TV and stuff?" Jason asked. "I had that before they died. It was mine." Shawn answered. "It's pretty nice." Jason said. Obviously he was nervous. Shawn walked over to Jason. "I know this is all of a sudden, but I've wanted you for so long, I got up enough courage to ask you. Now, I'm going to try for enough courage for this." He said as he kissed Jason. At first, he was caught off guard, but he soon returned the kiss with his tongue. They lowered to the floor. Shawn began to remove his and Jason's clothes. Both of them were shirtless. They rolled back and forth. Not one time did they untangle their tongues. Next were the pants. Shawn was wearing boxers and Jason was wearing "tighty-whities," as Shawn called them. Finally, their tongues broke. Shawn was on the bottom. Jason moved down to Shawn's waist. He peeped into the fly of them. All he saw was hair. He then pulled them down. He saw the biggest cock he had seen. He picked it up with his hand and placed it into his mouth. It tasted so good and was so soft. But is was soft and hard. Both Shawn and Jason moaned as Jason sucked harder. After a couple minutes of bobbing up and down, Jason stopped sucking and moved his way up Shawn's stomach and up his finely tuned chest to his lips. They kissed for a moment before Shawn flipped them both and he was on top. He kissed Jason and moved down south. He kissed his nipples as he moved down, moving his tongue into Jason's navel. Jason squirmed under Shawn. He kept going until he was at the white barrier. He didn't stop. He started to nibble at the hardness under the fabric. Jason moaned quitely as Shawn bit a little harder. Shawn finally decided to remove the barrier and reveal the wondrous monstrosity it was hiding. Using both hands, he slowly removed the top part of the waistband, revealing a thick patch of pubic hair. Shawn kept nibbling at the hardness under the cloth. Jason urged him to remove his pants and Shawn gave in and did so. He looked at the cock for a second before licking the head, causing Jason to shiver. He kissed the head one more time before engulfing the whole thing. The sensation running through Jason's mind was exhilarating. Shawn kept going until Jason warned him he was about to cum. All Shawn did was smile and keep going. Ten seconds later, Shawn's mouth was being showered with hot fluid as Jason released his load. Shawn kept sucking until he had every drop. He released the now shrinking cock and scooted up to Jason's head and starting kissing him. "That was wonderful." Jason said. It was all he could say. "Thank you." Shawn said. He started to get up and helped Jason on his feet. "Where are we going?" Jason asked. "To my bedroom." Shawn answered. "Sounds good to me." Jason said as Shawn took him by the hand and led him to the room. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for who has sent me e-mail. I was totally amazed how fast my story got around. I received three messages in less than 24 hours after the story was posted. Thank you Bryan, Chris, and Ben. I appreciate your comments. Warning: The following story has homosexual content. He opened the door and Jason was very surprised and all the posters and pictures on the wall. It was done in very good taste and Jason liked the room. Shawn pulled Jason into an embrace and continued kissing. Shawn slowly drug him over to the bed and fell onto it. They landed with Jason on top. He took the initiative and began to slide down Shawn's chest. He kissed his way down and licked the left nipple, then the right one and continued his path. Shawn let out little moans as Jason went down further. He stopped at his cock and with a glance in Shawn's eyes, he knew this is what he wanted and took the object in front of him in his mouth and began working. Shawn was in complete ecstacy as Jason expertly sucked Shawn's dick. After a few more minutes, Jason could feel Shawn tense up and he prepared for the upcoming load. A split-second later, Jason felt an explosion go off in his mouth as hot liquid filled it. He swallowed every bit. He raised himself up off of Shawn and laid beside him in the bed. "Where did you learn to suck like that?" Shawn asked. "Magicians never tell their secrets." Jason replied as he kissed Shawn's forehead. He smiled. "Really?" Shawn asked. "Really." Jason replied. "Fine with me, as long as you keep using your 'magic.'" Shawn said. "Trust me, I will." Jason said. They laid there for a few minutes. They talked about some things from their past and got to know each other a lot better. Both of them could tell this was going to be a nice relationship and slowly drifted off to sleep. SHAWN WAS THE FIRST TO WAKE UP THE NEXT MORNING. HE LAID IN THE BED AND WATCHED JASON SLEEP. He was liking what he saw and was happy that he had met Jason. He thought about the past 24 hours and was totally shocked at everything that had happened in that time. He had met the man of his dreams and experience the best sex of his life and gotten a good feeling from Jason. Shawn had no idea how long he had been lost in thought when Jason awoke and asked what he was thinking about. "You." Shawn answered. "Me?" Jason asked. "Yes, you. I was thinking about the past 24 hours and how happy I am that I got to meet you finally." Shawn said. "I am very glad I met you too." Jason answered. "So, are you a breakfast person?" Shawn asked looking at the bedside clock seeing that it was eight o'clock. "Am I in bed with an attractive guy?" Jason asked. "HMMM. Let me think. Yes." Shawn asked as he got up from the bed. He realized that he was naked when Jason whistled. He blushed and grabbed his robe from the chair in front of the computer. Jason followed suit, but, being naked as well, quickly ran to the living room and grabbed his pants. He slid them on before finding his way to the kitchen. Shawn was looking in the refridgerator when Jason entered. "Do you like your eggs over easy or what?" He asked. "I like them over easy." Jason replied. "Want any help?" "Nah, I think I can manage." Shawn replied. After gathering the items from the fridge, he set them on the counter and pulled one pan. He placed it on the stove and turned on the burner. He put some butter in the pan and began cooking the eggs. Under the sink he pulled out some sort of strange looking square with slots running lenthg wise. Jason didn't know what it was. "It's a bacon cooker." Shawn said, asking the unspoken question. "How do you work it?" Jason asked. "You put the bacon in the slots and put it in the microwave. It cooks it faster and is much healther. The juices drain to the bottom." He said as he pointed to the bottom of the cooker. "That's pretty neat." Jason said. Shawn smiled and flipped the eggs. After that, he placed the bacon on the cooker and set in the microwave, setting the digital timer for five minutes. He brought out a toaster from under the sink, plugged it in and turned to Jason. "Toast?" He asked. "Please." Jason replied as he smiled. Shawn place two slices of bread in the toaster and pushed down the lever. There was a faint red glow coming from the toaster as it started cooking. In less than an minute, the toast popped out. Shawn placed them on a plate and set it on the table. All the food was ready and they started to eat. It was the best breakfast Jason had had in a long time. After they had finished eating, they were talking when there was a knocking on the door. Shawn and Jason exchanged a strange look as Shawn went to open the door. "Hey baby!" The stranger said as he pulled Shawn in for a kiss. Shawn tried to resist, but the stranger had a strong hold on him. Jason saw this and ran to out the door before Shawn had a chance to explain anything. Chapter 2 Jason couldn't believe what was happening. He had just found what he thought was the perfect match and his match was cheating on him. He was very hurt. He walked outside of the apartment building now knowing what he was going to do. He looked for a phone booth but didn't find one, so he started walking. Shawn walked out into the street looking for Jason. He saw him walking down the sidewalk. "Jason!" He yelled, but Jason didn't hear him or was ignoring him. He started walking after Jason. He had changed into some clothes before walking outside. Jason heard Shawn call his name and decided to ignore him. He was not in the mood to hear whatever lies Shawn would say. He spotted a pay phone around the corner and kept walking. Shawn had caught up now. "Jason, listen to me. What just happened--" "Forget it. I don't want to hear lies." Jason said. "But is't the truth." Shawn pleaded as he tried to convince Jason to listen to him. "I don't want to hear it." Jason said as he fished in his pocket for 35 cent. "Who are you calling?" Shawn asked. He was defeated. "A taxi." Jason said as he deposited the coins. "No." Shawn said as he took the phone from Jason's hand and hung it up. "If you want to go home, I will take you. I brought you here and I will take you home." Shawn said as Jason looked at him and decided it was cheaper. "Okay." Jason said. "But first, let me explain." Shawn said. He expected Jason to object but he didn't say anything. "The guy you saw was Chris. He was an ex-boyfriend of mine. I called it off, but he refused to believe. I thought he understood finally when he moved out. I guess he didn't. I'm very sorry. Can you forgive me?" Jason had listened patiently. "Forgive you? No." Jason said. Shawn's face fell. "You're not the one who needs forgiveness." Jason said. "Wha--" "I am. I should have given you the chance to explain and I didn't. I am the one who is sorry. Can you forgive me?" Jason asked. Shawn was surprised at what Jason said, but he replied. "Yes, I forgive you." Shawn said. Jason smiled as he hugged Shawn. "Now, let's go back." Jason suggested as they turned and walked home. IT WAS ALMOST 10 IN THE MORNING WHEN THEY GOT HOME THERE. CHRIS WAS STILL THERE. HE HAD MADE himself at home and it made Shawn angry. "Who the hell are you thinking you can just barge in here, kissing me and then making yourself at home?" Shawn said. "Honey, don't get angry." Jason tried to cool Shawn off. "I don't know. I thought that maybe we could rekindle things. I still do. But maybe I was wrong in the way I approached. I am sorry." Chris said. "Sorry? Sorry? The hell you are. Get out of here. And don't ever come back here. Ever. Now please leave or things might get really nasty." Shawn said. Chris looked at him in shock and he stood up and walked back towards the door. He glance at Shawn, then Jason, then back at Shawn as he shut the door. "Damn, I never want to cross you." Jason joked as he sat on the couch. "I'm normally not like that. Just seeing him he made me angry, then when you ran out the door because of him made me even angrier." Shawn said as he sat beside Jason. He put his hand on Jason's thigh. Jason smiled and looked at it and then back at Shawn. "Can I ask you a question?" He asked. "You just did." Shawn said smiling. Jason laughed. "Okay, can I ask you two questions?" "One down, one to go." Shawn said. "Why did you run after me when I walked out?" Jason asked. Shawn was taken back with the question as he sat there in thought. "I ran after you because I thought you deserved an explanation. But I wanted you back. I feel something for you and I don't know how to explain it. When you walked out that door, something walked out of me with you. I then realized how much you mean to me." Shawn answered. Jason sat there as a tear slide shown his cheek. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry." Shawn said as he wiped away the tear. "I am happy you said that. It was what I was hoping to hear you say that." Jason said. He was very thrown back at what Shawn had said. It had touched him very much. "So, since we have had a busy morining already, I am going to take a shower." Shawn said as he stood up off the couch and started walking towards the bathroom. He started taking off his shirt. Jason watched his back muscles flex. Shawn entered the bathroom and turned on the shower and made sure it was just the right temperature before removing the rest of his clothes. He got in the shower and closed the curtain. The hot water felt good on his body. He was surprised when the curtain opened, but he relaxed when he saw who it was. Jason stood there completely necked, asking with his eyes if he could come in. Shawn didn't reply but kept looking at Jason. He took the answer as a yes an joined in. Jason moaned as the hot water hit him. Jason started kissing Shawn's back and started making a path down his buttocks area. Shawn started moaning. Then Jason stood up, grabbed the bar of soap and began to lather Shawn's back. But he did more than lather. He started to message every part of Shawn's back. Shawn was feeling so relaxed he didn't realize his legs were buckling in, but he caught himself in time. The strong hands on his back went lower to the lumber region. Shawn was enjoying this. Jason started to work harder on the back muscles. He went lower, skipping a certain area and messaged the back of Shawn's legs. Shawn moaned a little. Jason stood up and kissed Shawn. They turned to face each other as they totally lost themselves in the kiss. Their attention was finally brought back when the hot water started turning cold. It didn't gradually turn cold, but it was as if someone turned the control to Cold. They had used all the hot water. They immediately shut the water off and, laughing, climbed out of the stall and dried off with the towel. Jason was dried off first and he put his clothes back on and left the bedroom, but not before giving Shawn a quick kiss on the lips. Shawn stood in the bathroom looking at his reflection. His hair was wet giving him a rough look. He towel dried it quickly as he thought about Jason. He knew he was lucky to have found someone as nice and sweet and as cute as Jason. When Jason showed up in the shower necked, he was completely speechless. He had never been that way before and knew it meant something special. Shawn emerged from the shower with only a towel around his waiste. Jason was in the kitching cleaing as best he could. He didn't know where most things were, but he was learning fast. "You didn't have to do this.' He said as he came up from behind and wrapped his arms around Jason's waist. "Yeah, but I wanted to. I like cleaning." Jason said. "You're so sweet." Shawn said. "So I've been told." Jason replied as he broke away and kept cleaning. He wiped down the stove when he noticed the stove clock. "Honey, is this clock set to the right time?" "To my knowledge it is." Shawn answered. "Why?" "I was supposed to be at home at eleven-thirty. That gives me," he looks at the clock. "two minutes before I have to be there." "Then let's go." Shawn said as he hurried to the bathroom to put his clothes on. "No, I'll just call and tell hee I just woke up. She won't get angry." Jason said. "Okay, if you're sure. The cordless is in the living room." Shawn said. He walked into the bathroom to get dressed. From there he could hear Jason dialing a number. He could also hear Jason talking to his mother. "Hey Mom. I just woke up... Yeah...I'm having a blast. We watched some movies and then played video games all night...Really?..Are you sure? I can? Thank you Mom...Love ya too...Ok, talk to you later." He hung up the phone. Shawn had emerged from the bathroom wearing a nice outfit he had gotten from his closet. "What was that about?" He asked. "My mom told me I could spend the night again if that was okay with you. Is it?" Jason asked. For a moment there, Shawn saw the uncertainity in his eyes. Shawn was quick to make him feel better. "Baby, you can stay here whenever you want. Don't ever think you are not welcome." Shawn said as he quickly took Jason in a hug. "Thanks. That makes me feel better." Jason said. "So, now that I am here for the rest of the day, what are we going to do?" Jason suggested as he sat down on the couch. Shawn followed. "Well, we could go see a movie and go out to eat. Or we could go skating at the roller rink. Whatever you would like to do." Shawn said. "Well, I haven't been to a movie in awhile, and I haven't been skating in God knows how long. I'd like to go skating." Jason said. "Okay then, skating and dinner it is." Shawn said. AROUND 6PM, SHAWN AND JASON LEFT TO GO SKATING. JASON HAD SHOWERED AND PUT ON A OUTFIT OF Shawn's. It was a nice outfit. They walked out this car. Shawn unlocked the passenger's door and opened. Jason thanked him as he got in. HE studied the small car. Shawn climbed in the driver's side and started the engine. The started with a purr and he drove off. "We need to stop at the bank so I can get some money." Shawn said. "Okay, where do you bank?" Jason asked. "BB&T." Shawn answered. "Good, I need to take out some money as well." Jason replied. "No you don't. I will pay for it." Shawn said. "Why should you be the one to pay for it?" Jason asked. "Because I want to treat my boyfriend to a night on the town." Shawn answered. He knew Jason couldn't say anything about that. Jason shrugged his shoulder as they arrived at the bank. It was a drive-thru type and Shawn withdrew some money and they were on their way. IN TWENTY MINUTES, THEY HAD PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE AT THE RINK, BOUGHT THEIR TICKETS AND put on their skates. The stood and Jason was nervous. He was afraid that he was going to fall, but with some help from Shawn, he didn't fall. Jason started skating and got back in the hang of it. Shawn caught up and they had a fun time. AFTER THREE HOURS OF SKATING AND LAUGHING, THEY DECIDED THAT IT WAS TIME TO GO HOME. They returned their skates and walked out to the car. Shawn opened the door for Jason. He got in as Shawn got in the driver's side. "Did you have fun?" He asked as he started the engine. "I had a blast." Jason said as Shawn pulled out of the parking lot. Traffic was very light since it was late. Shawn was driving around 50 MPH before he saw headlights in front of him. At first, Shawn didn't know what it was. When the car swerved, Shawn knew exactly what was going on. Jason saw what was happening as well. He started to panic. Jason and Shawn looked at each other for a few seconds. Shawn watched the car. It was back on it's side of the road. Jason grabbed Shawn's thigh for a second and let go, afraid to distract him too much. Shawn thought for a second that the car as going to pass him, but ten seconds before the car would have passed, the car swerved into Shawn's lane. Shawn reacted quickly but futilely. He yanked the wheel to the right and slammed on the breaks. The little car fishtailed into a complete 180. It actually exceeded the 180 degrees before the car made impact on the Miata's right rear quarter panel. Most of the force from the impact was directed on the passenger side of the car. The car's top had been down, the force causing it to fly up against the windshield and back down. Shawn had been knocked unconscious from the impact, but he received few injuries and was okay for the moment. He tried to get out of the car, but the impact had crushed his door as well. He climbed out of the car and surveyed the damage. The car was totaled. The right rear tire was beside the left wheel. The small trunk lid had opened from the force. He walked to the front where the pop-up headlights were giving a yellow glow. The left one flickered twice before it died, reducing the light source. It was still enough to see what was laying in front of the car. It was Jason. Chapter 3 "Oh my God." Shawn said as he went to check on Jason. He checked his vital signs and he could definitely could determine a strong heartbeat. From a distance Shawn could see headlights driving down the road. He stood up and walked toward the road. As it came closer he flagged it down. It slowed and pulled over. "What happened, the driver said as she got out of the car. A drunk driver hit us and my friend is seriously hurt. Do you have a cell phone?" She nodded and handed it to Shawn. He dialed the number and explained everything that had happened and where they were. The dispatcher said someone was on their way. Shawn walked over to Jason's body. The woman had already walked over and check his pulse. She had taken her jacket off and had put it under Jason's head. After ten minutes or so, Shawn heard the sirens before he saw any lights. So did the woman. He had stayed on the phone with the dispatcher and she helped him make Jason more comfortable and make sure he was OK. The dispatcher had also made Jason check the drunk driver. He was barely alive. Two ambulances and two police cars pulled over. Paramedics jumped out of the ambulances and some went to Jason and some went to the drunk driver. They loaded Jason on a stretcher. He was still unconscious. A paramedic came and checked Shawn out. He was fine, but he had signs of a concussion. He told him to go the hospital with them, but before they could put him in the ambulance, a policeman waved him over. Shawn walked to him. "Could you tell me what happened?" He asked. "Yes sir, I was driving home and I saw the car swerving in between the lanes. When he got closer, it seemed that he was going to pass, but then he swerved and I jerked the wheel to the right to avoid him. But I made matters worse." With the last few words, Shawn lowered his head. Shawn watched as they put the stretcher into the ambulance. Before he knew it, everything around Shawn went black. SHAWN WOKE UP THE NEXT DAY IN THE HOSPITAL. HE SLOWLY LOOKED AROUND THE ROOM. AT FIRST HE DIDN'T realize where he was. As he looked around, he noticed a nurse was in his room. The first thing he asked was how was Jason. She told Shawn that he was still in serious condition and still in surgery. After finishing her job, she walked out of the room. Shawn started to think about everything and anything. He thought back to the accident, the events before and the events after. He laid in the hospital bed for a few minutes before another nurse walked in. She checked some charts against the monitors. Shawn looked at her and she smiled back. The first thing that popped up in his mind was how was Jason. "How is Jason?" He asked. The nurse looked at him and thought for a moment. "Who was he?" She asked. "The other victim of the car accident last night." "Are you family?" She asked. "Not exactly." "I'm sorry I can't disclose that information to anyone who is not family." She said. "Please tell me." Shawn begged. He was desperate to know how his lover was doing. "I'm sorry, it is company policy." She said as she checked one more chart and walked out the door. Shawn was aggravated. He watched the door shut behind her. 'Now what? No one will tell me how he is doing.' Exhausted from all the stress, he fell asleep. HE WAS AWAKEN BY A STRANGER'S PRESENCE IN HIS ROOM. HE SLOWLY WOKE UP TO SEE A WOMAN SITTING in his room. "Hi." She said "Hi." Shawn responded. "I am Jason's mom." She said. "I'm Sha--." "I know who you are." She said. "I am so sorry." Shawn said as he felt the tears start to fall again. "It's okay. It wasn't your fault." She said. "I know, but if I had done something different things wouldn't be this way." Shawn said. After a few moments, he was okay and very curious to why Jason's mom was in his room. "I'm here because I need to talk to you." She replied. "About what?" Shawn asked. He was beginning to get on the defensive side. "You. My son. And what happened. I never knew he was gay until I found a journal entry in plain view." She said. She seemed to be a nice person in her mid-forties and was taking everything very well. "What do you need to know?" He asked. "Do you love him?" She asked. She was very direct. "No, but I have very strong feelings for him." Shawn answered. Hearing this left a bad taste in his mouth. "Good. What exactly happened?" She asked. Shawn thought for a moment and then began to explain in detail everything that happened. "Turning the car to deflect the impact from Jason was smart." She said. "But it didn't work. It actually backfired. He got a lot more of the impact than I did." Shawn said. "God, I'm having so much trouble understanding this. I never knew or even suspected this at all." She said. "May I ask you a question?" Shawn asked. "Yes." "Are you okay with the fact that he is gay?" Shawn asked. He knew he was asking a very touchy question but he needed to know the answer. "More okay with it than I ever thought. It's not all that surprising to me." "Hey, can you tell how he is? They won't tell me anything." "From what they tell me he is doing fine. He is still in surgery but they say he won't have any scars permanently." "Thank you God." Shawn said. Shawn felt like there was a weight lifted off his shoulders even though Jason was still in critical condition. But, as all things do, that was about to change. VISITING HOURS WERE ENDING AND JASON'S MOM WAS GETTING READY TO LEAVE WHEN A DOCTOR GOT HER attention before she walked out the door. "Excuse me, are you the patient's mom in room 323?" He asked. "Yes, that's me. Why, is something wrong?" She could feel the dread swelling up inside her. "I'm afraid so. Please come with me." The doctor said as he pointed down the hall. She followed the doctor down the hall. She was very afraid of what she was going to find. She arrived at a room where doctors met during breaks. "Mrs. Andrews, thank you for coming down here. I need to talk to you." The doctor said. "What about?" She asked. "Your son has taken a turn for the worse. The stress from this ordeal has effected Jason in a mental way. He woke up today and he was so distraught that he started punching and hitting anyone who got near him. We had to sedate him to get him to calm down." The head doctor told Mrs. Andrews. "So what does that mean?" She asked. "Your son know has to go under psychiatric care." The doctor said. "And?" She asked. "You insurance company will not over it." The doctor said simply. "Why?" She asked. "They said there wasn't probable cause because he was in a car accident and they don't see it fit for psychiatric care." "Do you see that it is honestly necessary for my son to go through it?" She asked. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "At this moment, yes. Things may change as he progresses through recovery. I guess we will have to wait and see. I thought that you should be aware of what may be in store for your son's future." Chapter 4 The next day Shawn decided he needed to talk to the insurance company about his car, he dreaded this however. He picked the phone up by his bedside table and called them. He asked to speak to his representative and explained to the person what had happened. His rep asked him where the car was so he could send someone to look at it and Shawn told him he had no idea where it was. His rep did tell him that his insurance would cover any damages but how much would depend on the severity of the damage made to the vehicle. Shawn thanked him and hung up. It was around 10 in the morning and a nurse entered his room. "How are we doing this morning?" He asked. "Doing fine I guess. I feel a lot better." Shawn answered. "That's good. Your doctors think you are ready to be released." The nurse said as he checked some charts and looked at his monitors. "Really? When?" "Today hopefully. We have to run some more tests to see how you are doing and then they will make their decision." "Cool." Shawn said. He was anxious to get away from the hospital even though he knew he would be there almost everyday visiting Jason. "Hey, I have a question, do you know where they take cars that are wrecked.?" He asked. "No, sorry." The nurse said. "Thanks." Shawn said as the nurse walked out the door. A few moments later there was a knock on his door. "Come in." He called. Jason's mom walked in. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "All right I guess. The doctors say I might be able to go home early." Shawn said. "That's great." She said. "I wish my son could go home early." "I do too." Shawn said. "I am really sorry for what happened." "I know." She said. Shawn could tell there was more to it. "What's wrong? Is something wrong with Jason?" Shawn asked. "Yesterday when I was leaving a doctor pulled me to the side and told me he was going through an emotional breakdown. And what is worse my insurance won't cover any of his mental treatment." She explained. "Why?" Shawn asked. "They don't see it fit to do so." She said. Shawn was in shock. He couldn't believe his ears. "So what are you going to do?" He asked. "I don't know. The doctors say it may only be temporary and he might not need any treatment. Everything is so confusing." "I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't. I wish things could be different." Shawn said. "I know what you mean." She said as she glanced at her watch. "Hey, I got to run. Talk to you soon okay?" "Okay." Shawn said. She got up to walk out when Shawn said something. "Have you seen him?" "Yes." "How does he look?" He asked. "Let's just say he wouldn't win a beauty pageant." She said trying to put some humor in the situation. "Do you think I could see him?" Shawn asked. She could see the desperate look in his face. "Do you love him?" She asked. Shawn thought for a moment before he answered. "Yes. I do love him. I guess it took something like this to show me that I do." He said. "Then I will see what I can do." She said as she walked out the door. Shawn was left to his own thoughts, but not for long. FIVE HOURS LATER SHAWN WAS OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL WAITING FOR HIS CAB TO PICK HIM UP. HE HAD BEEN quite busy since he had been released. For three hours after Mrs. Andrews left the doctors ran a battery of tests on Shawn and decided that he was fit for Shawn to be released. The first thing he had done was to see Jason. Shawn was surprised when the doctor said yes. The doctor had lead him to a hospital room and opened the door. Inside the room Shawn noted it looked a lot like his did. But it had more of darker feeling than his. In the middle of the room Jason was lying in his bed. He had bandages across his face and covering most of his body. Shawn was shocked to see all of this. He was also hurt to see this because he felt responsible for his injuries. "Thank you doctor." Shawn had said as the doctor turned to leave the room. Shawn sat down in one of the chairs and watched Jason sleep. He knew he was under sedation so he didn't expect him to wake up. He had watched him for two hours at least before he realized that he had to leave. Standing outside he hospital he waited for his taxi. He thought about the past few days and what had all happened. From his car accident to now, it was amazing. Shawn wasn't paying much attention to his surrounding when his taxi pulled around and blew the horn. He finally snapped out of it and got in the car, telling the driver where to go. IN TWENTY MINUTES HE WAS HOME. HE WALKED IN TO HIS KITCHEN AND CHECKED THE ANSWERING MACHINE. The digital display told him had five messages. He signed as he pushed the play button. There was a pause as the machine rewound and played the first message. "Hey Shawn, it's Stephen, long time no hear? Where are you? Anyway, give me a call when you get this. Talk to you later. Bye." BEEP "Shawn, it's your sister Crystal, is everything okay? Give me a call okay? Love you." BEEP "Shawn, it's Michele, what's up? I need to talk to you so call me later. Bye." BEEP "Shawn, this is Tammie. You haven't shown up at work for the past two days, I hope you have a good explanation or you know what will happen. Call me as soon as you can. Bye." "Shawn, this is Richard with State Farm Insurance, we have located your car and sent out someone to look at it. I called at the hospital and they said you had already left. I hope you are doing all right. Give me a call when you get this message. Thanks." BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. "Thank God." Shawn said as he picked up the cordless phone. 'First things first.' He thought as he picked up his cordless phone and dialed Stephen's number. TEN MINUTES LATER HE WAS HANGING UP THE PHONE WITH HIS RICHARD TALKING ABOUT HIS CAR. SINCE THE accident was not his fault, the drunk driver's insurance company was paying for the replacement of a new car and a rental car until he could buy a new car. Shawn was happy. His only problem was finding a way to the rental place to pick up his rental car. But, he decided to do that in the morning. He just wanted to relax for awhile before he went to bed. He went into the living room and watched TV for the next few hours before he decided it was late. It was pushing seven o'clock at night and he was exhausted. He had not had a decent night sleep since the accident. Shawn showered and threw on his night clothes and tried to sleep. But he couldn't. His mind kept racing with many different things at once. Finally, exhausted from thinking so much, he finally dozed off around 8:00. BACK AT THE HOSPITAL, JASON WAS REGAINING CONCIOUSNESS. IT WAS WEIRD WAKING UP IN THE HOSPITAL BED. It took him a few minutes to put together where he was and what had happened. His first thought was Shawn. He didn't know how bad he was hurt or anything. He called for a nurse or doctor. In two seconds there was one in his room, surprised that he was awake. "Shawn...where...is...he?" He asked, taking breaths in between breathes. "I think he has already been released. He is fine." The nurse said. She could very easily read Jason's mind and knew what he was thinking. "What...about...me?" Jason asked. "You are going to need some work. Actually, it may not be as bad as we thought. We didn't think you would regain consciousness this early. This is a good sign." She said. "Can...you...do...--" Jason started to talk but she cut him off and handed him a pad and a pencil. "Write it down. It will be easier and it will save strain on your voice." She said as Jason nodded his head. He wrote something on the pad and handed it to her. 'Can you call Shawn and tell him I am okay? 993-0443.' "Sure." She said as she picked up the phone. She dialed the number and waited until Shawn picked up. "Is this Shawn?" "Yes, who is this?" Shawn replied over the phone. "I am nurse Maria Anderson. I am standing in Jason's room right now calling you for him." She said. "What?" Shawn asked. He didn't think he heard her right. "I am standing with Jason in his room. He asked me to call you." Maria replied. "Why didn't he call?" "Because his voice is too strained to talk." She said as Jason pointed to the phone. "It is not a good idea for you to talk." She said to him. But Jason persisted and gave him the phone. "Only a couple of words." "Shawn...Jason...you...okay?" Jason asked. "Yes baby, I'm fine. Are you okay?" Shawn said. He was so happy to hear his voice. "Feel...bad...you...come...see...me...tomorrow?" Jason asked? "Of course I will. If I tell you something would it scare you? It comes from my heart." Shawn said. "No." Jason replied. "I love you. I know it sounds fast, but this accident made me realize that. I know you may think it is fast but we will discuss this later." Shawn said. He couldn't believe he had just said that. "Love...you...too." Jason said. Shawn was shocked on the other end of the phone. "Really?" "Yes." Jason said. "Okay. Wow. Thank you." Shawn said. He was still surprised. "Wel--" Jason started to say but the nurse took the phone away from him. "Okay, he said enough. We don't want him to strain his voice too much." Maria said. "Thank you for letting him speak. Hey, what time are visiting hours? I never paid much attention when I was there." He asked. "Hours are between 7am-10am and 3pm-6pm." She said. "Okay, will you tell Jason that I should be there to see him around 8 o'clock?" Shawn said. "I sure will. You have a good night." She said. She put the phone down on the cradle and relayed Shawn's message. Jason smiled as she left his room. He laid back in his bed and went back to sleep. Shawn did the same back at his apartment. They both couldn't wait until tomorrow when they would see each other. Chapter 5 Morning couldn't come quick enough for the two lovebirds. Around 7am Shawn woke up to his alarm clock. He was very excited about seeing Jason and being able to talk to him. Shawn went into the bathroom, combed his hair and threw on some clothes. He picked up his cordless phone and called a taxi to pick him up. Shawn was told the taxi would be there in twenty minutes. Shawn watched the TV until he heard the horn blow for the taxi. JASON WAS JUST WAKING UP WHEN SHAWN WAS GETTING READY. A NURSE WAS CHANGING HIS IV WHEN HE ASKED what time it was. Is voice was still a little scratchy but it was better. The nurse however still didn't want him talking. "7:15." She said as she glanced at her watch. "Thanks." Jason said. She finished her job and left the room. Jason knew Shawn would be there very soon. AROUND 8:15, SHAWN WALKED INTO THE HOSPITAL. HE ASKED THE RECEPTIONIST IF JASON WAS AWAKE AND SHE said he was awake and awaiting his arrival. Shawn thanked her and walked toward Jason's room. With a slight knock he opened the door. Inside Jason was propped up in his bed eating breakfast. "Hey." Shawn said as he walked in. He was holding his hand behind his back. "What is behind you?" Jason asked. His voice was scratchy but at least it wasn't broken like the last time. "Oh, nothing." Shawn said as he brought whatever it was around in front of him. It was a bouquet of flowers Shawn had gotten from the florist on the way there. "They are pretty." Jason said as he took them for Shawn. He inhaled the scent from them. "I love the smell of flowers." "I'm glad you like them. I didn't know what kind you liked." Shawn said as he slide the chair closer to the bed. Shawn started feeling very emotional and Jason saw it coming. There was a few minutes of silence as they studies each other's face. "I love you." Jason said. "I love you too. I wish I could do something to remove your pain." Shawn said. A few more moments of silence. "If only I had done something different you wouldn't be here." "Don't blame yourself for something you had no control over at all. It wasn't your fault." Jason said. "I know you're right, I just can't convince myself to believe that." Shawn said. Jason reached out and took Shawn's hand within his. Shawn smiled and gently squeezed. They stayed like this for a while until there was a knock on the door. Shawn and Jason both looked up and Jason jumped and tried to take his hand away when he saw who it was. "I see someone is feeling better." Jason's mom said. Jason didn't know that she already knew about Shawn. "Mom, this isn't--" He started to explain. "Relax, I already know everything." She said as she pulled up the other chair and sat down. "Shawn and I had a talk the other day and I am aware of everything." "And you're okay with it?" Jason asked. "It took me awhile to adjust but it hasn't changed the way I think of you or how much I love you. You are the same little boy I raise for sixteen years. Nothing will ever change that." She said. Jason obviously was relieved as he sighed and took Shawn's hand back into his. "How long have you been gay?" "Ever since I was twelve I knew that I was different and I had different views about my sexuality. I didn't realize what I was until I got on the Internet and then I realized what it was to be gay." Jason explained. He had never told anyone this story before and it deeply hurt him to tell it. "That is how I realized who I was." Shawn said. "Well, anyway, have the doctors said anything to you about getting out soon?" His mom asked. "Not yet, but I have a feeling it will be soon." Jason answered. "Okay, well, I am going to find a doctor and ask him. I'll be back. Anybody want anything while I'm gone?" "I'll have a Coke." Shawn said. She nodded and left the room. "When did she find out?" Jason asked. "I don't know when but I know she read one of your journal entries that had been left in plain view." Shawn answered. "Oh my God. I can't believe I left my journal out." Jason said. "Maybe you we meant to do it. Look where it got you. Your mom is approving. I couldn't tell you how much I would have given to have a supporting mother like you have." Shawn said. "Just stop and think how lucky you are and realize that some people aren't as lucky as you are." Shawn said. Suddenly all the anger that he had been bottling up came to the front and he couldn't control it any longer. He stood from the chair but sat back down when he realized that he was overreacting. "Honey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to blow up on you like that." He said as he took Jason's hand back into his and kissed it. "It's okay. I know that everything is stressful for you and I am not making it easier." Jason said. "I know and my past is something I don't like to deal with and what you said brought back some memories." Shawn said. "Will you ever tell me what happened in your past?" Jason asked. "When the time is right and I feel like you can handle it. It is something that isn't easy and very hard to accept. When I feel that you can handle it and I can discuss it I will talk to you about it." Shawn said. "Thank you." Jason said as his mom walked back into the room. "Here you go Shawn." She said as she handed him a can of Coke. "Thanks." Shawn said as he popped open the can and took a sip. "Did you find a doctor?" He asked. "Yes, and he said that Jason could be released in a couple of days. They are waiting for some of his injuries to heal. After that he will be released." She said. "Thank God." Jason said. He was tired of being in the hospital room. "I know this is hard on you too." Shawn said to Mrs. Andrews. "And you too." She replied. They talked for a little while until it was time for them to leave. Mrs. Andrews said her good-byes and left Shawn and Jason alone. After she left, Shawn bent over Jason's bed and planted a kiss on Jason's lips. Shawn broke the kiss and with a smile, walked out the door, winking at Jason as the door shut. Part 2 NOW SHAWN WAS FOCUSED ON SOMETHING ELSE. TRANSPORTATION. HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE and there without a car? He decided that he would start car shopping today. He walked into the hospital lobby and walked over to the pay phone. He inserted the proper coins and dialed a number. "May I speak to Stephen please?...Hey buddy, how are you?...I need a favor...Can you pick me up the Forsyth Hospital?...I'll explain that later...You can?...Okay, thanks...See you when you get here..." He said as he placed the receiver back on the hook. Stephen was a good friend for Shawn and had been there when Shawn had needed him. Shawn smiled as he remembered times when he had been needed. There were some funny ones and not so funny ones. Shawn remembered one time when his car had broken down on the way to work and he had called Stephen to come and get him on his cell phone. Stephen had called back ten minutes later saying that his car wouldn't start either and they both had shared a taxi that day. Shawn also remembered the time Shawn was involved in a bad relationship and Shawn's boyfriend turned real ugly and had threatened him and started beating Shawn. He had tied him to the bed post and left him there for two days. Stephen was the one who went to Shawn's apartment and found him asleep in the bed. He had severe ropes burns on his wrists and was weak from not eating. Stephen had phoned the police and had never left Shawn's side the entire time. Shawn was still sitting in the lobby where he had sat after the call when Stephen appeared in front of him. "Hello stranger." He said. "Long time no see." "Hey." Shawn said as he stood up and gave him a hug. It was customary. "What were you thinking about?" Stephen asked. "You. Our friendship. The crap that we have been through. I appreciate everything you have ever done for me." Shawn said. "You're welcome." Stephen answered as they started walking out of the hospital. "So, how, why are you here?" He asked. Shawn smiled. Stephen never waited for an explanation, so he decided to be mean. "I'll tell you in the car." He said. Stephen moaned as he pressed a button and the parking lights to a Jeep Grand Cherokee flashed and unlocked the doors. "Okay." Stephen said as he climbed into the driver's seat. Shawn started explaining the situation as the pulled out of the parking lot. "And you see, that is one reason I needed you." Shawn said. "Always using me aren't you?" Stephen joked. Both of them laughed and the Shawn turned serious. "I hope you aren't really busy because I need to go to Enterprise Car Rental and find a rental car. Could you or would you take me to pick out a car?" Shawn asked. He used his puppy dog face to convince Stephen. "How could I ever turn down that face?" "So you will do it?" Shawn asked. "Have I ever said no to you when you used that face?" Stephen answered. "Well...there was that one time..." Shawn joked. "Hey now! Do you want to go there or not?" Stephen said. They both started laughing as Stephen guided the Grand Cherokee onto the highway toward Enterprise to find a car for Shawn. Chapter 6 Shawn opened the door to his apartment as the phone started ringing. "Hello?" He said as he picked up the cordless phone. "Shawn, this is Ron from Bojangles', we are kind of short handed here and we were wondering if you could come in and work tonight?" "Sure. When do you need me?" Shawn asked. "As soon as possible." Ron said. Shawn told him he would be there in an half hour. They said their pleasantries and hung up. Shawn walked to his closet to get his uniform ready. Shawn moved to the dresser as he looked at himself in the mirror. He smiled at an inside thought as he started to unbutton his shirt. He reached the last unbutton and removed his shirt. He smiled as he looked at his muscular chest remembering how hard he had worked to get his six-pack. He undid his belt and took off as he unbuttoned his jeans and slid them off. He admired his half-necked body with admiration. Shawn snapped out of his daze as he slide on a white T-shirt. Then he slide on his work jeans, tucked in his shirt, grabbed his hat and went to the bathroom where he sprayed some cologne on and put on the hat and left the bathroom. He grabbed his keys and the new rental car's keys and shut the door and locked it. He walked to his rented Dodge Neon. He got into the small car and drove to work. JASON WAS SO TIRED OF DOCTORS POKING AND PRODDING HIM EVERYWHERE. THEY WERE DOING SOME FINAL tests before they could decide if he was able to go home. Most of there tests came back with positive results. No signs of any mental difficulties like they had thought and there wasn't any sign of brain swelling. Always a good sign. Mrs. Andrews had shown up on her lunch break from work to see her son. She was happy to hear the good news. After the doctors left Jason brought up something that was bothering him. She was sitting in a chair across from the bed when he spoke. "Mom, are you sure you are okay with me being gay?" He asked. "Actually, yes. It wasn't that big of a shock." She replied. "Good." Jason said. "I had been worried ever since Shawn told me how you found out." "What you decide for your life is up to you. I will love you regardless." Mrs. Andrews said. "Plus, you got yourself a good catch. He loves you already." "Really?" Jason asked. "Yeah. He realized it when the doctors wouldn't let him see you and I asked him and he said yes. Then I used some influence and insisted that Shawn see you and they agreed. I can see how much he cares for you." She said as she watched her son's facial expressions change. They talked for a few more minutes before Mrs. Andrews' lunch break ended. She got up and bent to give Jason a kiss on his forehead as she turned and walked out of his room, saying bye on her way out. Jason sat there thinking about what she had told him about Shawn loving him. Jason knew it was too early and knew he would have to talk this over with Shawn. FIVE HOURS AFTER RON HAD CALLED SHAWN IN HE WAS STILL BUSY WORKING HARD. THEY WERE AS BUSY AS could. "Welcome to Bojangles', how can I help you?" Shawn said into his headset. They were seriously short-handed. It kept like this for awhile until finally around 6:30pm it slowed down. Shawn leaned against the counter as he took a sip of drink. The phone rang and Ron answered it. He looked at Shawn and motioned for Shawn to take the phone. He did. "Hello, this is Shawn." He said. "Hey baby, whatcha doin'?" A strange man asked. "Who is this?" "No one special. Just a casual observer." The other man said. "Have you been watching me?" Shawn asked. He was starting to get panicky. "Yes, and I must say you are one sexy man." "Who are you?" Shawn asked as he looked around the store. "In a safe place where I can watch you." The stranger said. "Leave me alone!" Shawn said as he hung up the phone. He got a couple looks from customers and some employees as he stormed to the back. He went into the office and sat down as one of his fellow employees followed him to ask him what was wrong. "What happened?" Jessica asked. "Someone just called and said they were watching me. It was freaky." Shawn said. "Shouldn't you report it?" She asked. "Nah, it was probably just a prank call. Nothing to worry about." Shawn said as he regained his composure and walked out of the office to finish working. CLOSING TIME CAME FAST ENOUGH AS SHAWN WAS WALKING OUT THE DOOR WHEN A HAND WAS PUT OVER HIS mouth and his arms pushed behind his back as he was dragged into the back of a van. He noticed that there were three men in thr van. The first man had bound him and put him in the van. The sedcond man blindfolded him and started to remove Shawn's clothes. At this, Shawn tried to struggle but he forced him down as he was forced into doggy position. Shawn could hear the men laughing as he felt the presence of a dick touch his lips. "Suck it boy." A voice commanded. For fear of his life, Shawn opened his lips and allowed the intruder to enter. As Shawn was busy up front, he could feel yet another presence behind him. It didn't take Shawn long to figuyre out what it was. Again Shawn tried to fight and this time he was struck hard to the face by one of his attackers. He was kicked in the side by another man. "Fucking faggot." One of them said. "We are going to teach him a lesson or two." He said as he inserted his member in Shawn. Shawn winced at the pain and again for fear of his life, didn't fight back. Shawn tried to ignore the ripping pain he felt but it was no use. Before Shawn realized what was happening, his mouth was full of cum. The man enjoyed it and let his manhood fall from Shawn's mouth. Before Shawn could catch his breath, another member was shoved in. This kept up for another twenty minutes before all three men were satified. The opened the back doors to the van and rolled Shawn out of the van. They tossed out his clothes leving Shawn necked, blinfolded, and bleeding on the parking lot of Bojangles'. Shawn had no idea what time it was but hoped that someone would walk out soon and see him. For what seemed like an eternity Shawn laid on the ground before someone saw him. It was the manager Matt. The store had closed and he was walking to his car when he noticed Shawn's rented Neon was still there. Matt wondered what it was doing there was a screeching sound and a blue van left the parking lot. Matt looked back at the direction where the van had left and saw Shawn's body. He immeditaley ran over to see if he was okay. When he got there, he was shocked by what he saw. Shawn was in the fetal postion crying. He was still necked with his hand tied behind his back. Matt tried to get his attention but he was lost. Matt finally got his attention and Shawn looked up at Matt. "What happened?" Matt asked. "I was raped." Shawn said as he started crying again. Chapter 7 This was the day. Jason was released from the hospital and his mom had come and got and took him home. Jason was happy to be home. He tried to call Shawn but he got no answer. Jason shrugged his shoulders as he enjoyed his new freedom. He was in his room when the phone rang. Jason's mom answered it on the second ring so he didn't pay much attention to it until his door burst open. "Jason, we got to go. Shawn's in the hospital." She said as Jason jumped up and left with her. THEY ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL AND JASON DASHED IN TO FIND OUT WHAT ROOM NUMBER SHAWN WAS IN. She told him which one it was and he was off. So many thoughts of why Shawn would be in here was running through Jason's mind as he pushed the up button on the elevator. The ride was quick but it seemed like forever to Jason. He walked to the door and knocked on it. He heard Shawn say come in and he walked in. Jason saw Shawn laying in the bed and a strange guy sitting in the chair. Jason walked straight over to Shawn and gave him a kiss. "Are you okay?" He asked. "I'm fine." Shawn replied. "If you are fine then why are you in here?" Jason said. Shawn looked up at him and tears came to his eyes. He took Jason's hand tried to explain. "Two days ago at work, I received a prank phone call from someone. I thought it was a joke and I should have taken it serious." Shawn tried to continue, but the memories were still too strong. "You don't have to tell me now." Jason said. "No, I can do this." He said as he paused. "When I left work, a guy came from behind me, dragged me into a van and...raped me." Shawn said as he started crying again. Jason took him into his arms and gave him comfort as the guy that introduced himself as Stephen moved over to give comfort as well. It took Shawn a few moments before he was okay. "So, now I am here so they can run tests on me and the such." "I am so sorry." Jason said. "Don't be." Shawn said as there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Shawn said and Jason's mom walked in. In all the rush and concern Jason had he had forgotten about his mother. "Is everyone okay?" She asked. "Yeah." Jason said as he glanced and Shawn and silently asked if it was okay to tell her. Shawn nodded and Jason explained to her what had happened. She apologized and they talked for the next few minutes until visiting hours were over. Stephen and Jason's mom said good-bye and left Shawn and Jason together alone. Jason took Shawn's hand in his. "I am so sorry this happened to you. I wish I could stay here and help you." "Just be there for me when I need you to hold me." Shawn said. "I will." Jason said as he kissed Shawn and slowly walked out of the room. ONE MONTH LATER "Honey, are you ready yet?" Jason called from the front door. "I'm coming." Shawn said. "Haven't heard that in awhile." Jason joked as Shawn walked out of the bathroom. Ever since Shawn had been raped they had not had sex. Shawn had said he wasn't ready and Jason was being patient. "What did you say?" Shawn asked. "Nothing. Damn you look sexy." Jason said. Shawn was wearing a blue silk shirt with black dress pants. "You look good too. Are you ready?" Shawn said. "I've *been* ready." Jason said. He was wearing black pants with a white button-down shirt and a black vest. With a quick kiss they walked out the door as Shawn locked it. "Whose car are we taking?" Jason asked. Since Shawn had been in the hospital, Jason's mom had decided to give him his 17th birthday present early. A 1985 Chevrolet Camaro that had been owned by his Mom since she bought it. When Shawn had gotten out of the hospital, he had decided to buy himself a Camaro as well. He bought a 1996 model. "We took yours last time." Shawn said as he hit a button on his remote transmitter. The doors unlocked. Jason nodded as he slid in the passenger's seat and Shawn slid in the driver's seat. Tonight was a night just for them two. They were going to a local gay night club. They had been there twice together but Shawn was a regular. Twenty minutes later the two pulled up at the club. They could hear the music coming from inside. Jason loved to dance and he was ready to dance as they walked up to the door. Shawn pulled Jason back a little as he walked in front. He had to do this to get Jason in the door. Shawn had to use influence to get Jason in telling the guard he was the Designated Driver. Shawn opened the door and opened the door and smiled at the guard. The guard knew what was going on so there was no need to explain. When they walked in, they were blasted with cool air and loud music. Jason grabbed Shawn's hand and drug him to the dance floor. they found a little spot and started to dance. After the song was over, Shawn wanted to go and get a Pepsi but a slow song started to play and Jason wanted to dance to it. "Dance with me." Jason said. Shawn smiled and wrapped his arms around Jason as they swayed. Jason rested his head on Shawn's chest. When the song was over, they walked over to the bar and Shawn asked for a Pepsi. Jason was having fun already but he noticed two strange men standing in a corner that looked out of place. He pointed this out to Shawn and his face dropped. "What are they doing here again?" He asked. They were still at the bar when Shawn grabbed Jason's and took him to a small room with no light. "Who are they?" Jason asked when they got in. "I don't know. A few months ago they came in here and started a big fight and someone was even hospitalized from it." Shawn explained. Jason was very surprised and scared. "So, what are we going to--" Jason was cut off as a loud crash came from outside. "Nothing now. It's too late." Shawn said. The commotion got louder as the music stopped. Jason and Shawn had moved to the corner of the room not knowing what to expect next. They had just moved when they saw a figure walk in the door and look around. The two lovers remained motionless as the guy looked in. Apparently he didn't see anything and shut the door. They both sighed a sigh of relief as Shawn drew Jason in for an embrace. Jason had started to tremble after the door had been shut. Shawn whispered in his ear that everything would be okay. Jason held on tighter. Suddenly everything stopped. The noises stopped and everything was quite. Too quite. Then there were muffled voices. They couldn't understand what was going on. Then the door opened and a flashlight beam was shown in the room. In the faint light from outside, Shawn could see that it was a police officer looking. He turned the flashlight in their direction and he saw them. "Are you guys all right?" He asked. Both Jason and Shawn nodded as the officer told them it was okay to walk out. They slowly walked out of the room and looked at the damaged room. Every table has been turned over and there was broken glass everywhere. Jason still hung onto Shawn as they surveyed the damage. "I want to go home." He whispered. Shawn nodded and walked towards and office, leaving Jason where he was standing. Shawn asked the officer if they could leave. Since they had been in the room the didn't see anything and couldn't help the officers. Shawn did tell them about the guys being there a few months ago. The officer thanked him and told him he could go. Shawn looked at Jason and motioned for him to follow. Jason saw the signal and walked towards his lover. He nodded as the two lovers walked out of the club. Shawn pushed a button and both doors unlocked. Shawn opened the passenger door for Jason and he got in. The Shawn walked to the driver's side, got in and left. ONE HOUR LATER THE TWO HAD ARRIVED AT HOME. JASON HAD BECOME UNUSUALLY QUITE. SHAWN WAS A LITTLE concerned. "What's bothering you?" He asked as he started to change clothes. "Nothing." Jason said as he did the same. "Don't lie to me." Shawn said. Jason looked at Shawn and confessed. "Tonight just really scared me." Jason said. "I'm sorry. I wish this hadn't have happened to you." Shawn said as he walked over to Jason and took him in his arms. "God I feel so safe in your arms." Jason said. "I love you." This was the first time either one of them had said it and it was very meaningful. "I love you too." Shawn said as he broke he embrace and pulled down the covers on his bed. In five minutes the two were sound asleep in each others arms. Chapter 8 Jason woke with a start as he sat up in the bed and covered in sweat. He glanced at the clock and saw that it was 4am. "What's wrong?" Shawn asked. Jason's cry had woken him up. "I just had a nightmare." Jason said and laid back down. Shawn took him into his arms and Jason started to cry. After a few minutes, they fell asleep. FOUR HOURS LATER the alarm clock buzzed and Jason woke up. He yawned and looked at Shawn. He was still sleeping and looked very peaceful and relaxed. Jason slowly eased himself out of the bed and tucked the covers around Shawn so he would not get cold. He went to the bathroom where he splashed water on his face and then did his business. After that he walked into the kitchen where he opened the refrigerator and poured himself some Mountain Dew. He took a few sips and decided to cook breakfast. Shawn would probably asleep for another half hour until he noticed Jason's absence. Jason sipped his drink and looked in the refrigerator. There was no food at all to cook. Since there was nothing to cook Jason decided to buy breakfast from Biscuitville. He decided to write a note to Shawn in case he woke up. Dear Shawn, I wanted to cook breakfast but you didn't have any food so I decided to go get us something from Biscuitville. I'll be home soon. Love ya, Jason He put the note on the counter and grabbed keys and wallet and left. TEN MINUTES LATER Shawn woke up to find an empty bed. "Jason?" He called but got no answer. Worried that Jason had left due to his nightmare he got up and walked to the kitchen and looked out the window. Jason's car was missing. "Oh, oh." Shawn said as he noticed the note on the counter. As he read it he sighed a sigh of relief. He took a sip of Mountain Dew from the fridge and decided to take a shower. He had just gotten out when the front door opened and Jason walked in. "Shawn?" He called out as he sat the food down. Shawn emerged from the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist. "You didn't have this do this for us." Shawn said as he took Jason in his arms and kissed him. Jason smelled the clean scent on Shawn as he started to kiss Shawn's neck. He raised Jason's shirt and started to kiss his stomach, making him squirm with pleasure. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" Jason asked. "I am more than sure. I want you, I need you. Plus, you have waited long enough for me, and it's time that wait is over." Shawn said. "I will wait longer if you're not ready." Jason replied. "I'm ready." Shawn reassured as he took Jason's shirt off. When it was off he slowly started kissing his neck and moved towards Jason's nipple. He shivered at the touch. Shawn liked the reaction and moved to the other one. Same reaction. Shawn continued lower and stuck his tongue in Jason's belly-button as Jason squealed. Shawn started to undo Jason's jeans and his hands hesitated. "If you're not ready, stop." Jason said. They looked at each other for a second until Shawn spoke. "I'm okay." With that he finished un-buttoning his jeans and let them fall, leaving Jason standing in boxers. In front of the boxers was something that Shawn was after. He gently took it in his hand and started to lick the head. Shawn pulled down Jason's boxers and took it completely in his mouth. They both were into it when the phone rang. Neither one wanted to answer it so they let it ring. It rang three times and then it stopped. But, a few seconds later it rang again. "Dammit." Shawn said he stopped what he was doing and answered it. "Hello?... What time?... OK...See ya then...Bye." "Who was that?" Jason asked. "Work. They wanted to know if we would come in to work early and I told them we would. Is that okay?" Shawn asked. "Yeah, as long as I am with you." Jason said as he pulled Shawn in for an embrace. "You are so sweet to me." Shawn said. "I know." Jason said as he smiled. "So, what do we do until then?" The romantic moment had been ruined by the phone. "Well, we could watch a movie together." Shawn said as Jason started to unpack the food he had bought. "What do I owe you for this?" Shawn was indicating his breakfast platter. "What kind of boyfriend would I be if I made you pay for your breakfast?" Jason asked. Shawn thought for a moment. "A really good one?" Shawn asked. "No, very lousy and extremely cheap." Jason answered. They took their food to the table and started eating. They ate in silence but they kept watching each other while they ate. After breakfast the climbed on the couch and cuddled together to watch a movie. A few moments later they had dozed off. WHEN TIME ROLLED around to go to work, neither one of them wanted to go. But they had already said they would go. Jason was the first one to get off the couch. Shawn had already taken a shower so he let him snooze and Jason got in the shower. By the time he was out of the shower, Shawn was already ready. Twenty minutes later Jason and Shawn were dressed and ready to go. Shawn had worked at Bojangles' for a year and a half. He had suggested this job to Jason when he was looking for a job. Jason filled out an application and was hired. "Since we took you car last time, we'll take mine." Jason said as he unlocked the passenger's door for Shawn. He climbed in as Jason got in on the driver's side and started the car. After a few seconds, they were on their way. "GOD WHAT A day." Jason said as walked in the door. They were just getting home from work when the phone started ringing. Shawn picked up the cordless with a puzzled look on his face. "Hello?" He said as he kicked off his shoes. "Okay, one second." Shawn handed him the phone. Jason gave him a questioning glance and took the phone. "Hello?...Hey, what's up?...How did you get this number?...Oh...So, how are you?...Good, hold on a second." Jason said. "This is my sister, is it okay if I go to our room.?" Shawn nodded as he sat on the couch. Jason walked to the bedroom. Jason and Shawn had been busy at work. Shawn turned on the TV and flipped through the channels. It hadn't been ten minutes before Shawn heard yelling from the room. "I can't believe you would call me at my boyfriend's house and tell me that you can't accept the fact that I am gay. I finally find someone who I care about and he cares about me and you can't be happy for me? How dare you!" Jason said as he hung up the phone. Shawn stayed in the living room for a few moments to see if Jason would come out, but apparently he wasn't so he walked in the bedroom. On the bed Jason was sitting there crying. "Baby, are you okay?" He asked as he sat down on the bed. "No." Jason replied. Shawn scooted closer and took Jason in his arms. Shawn stroked his hair as he cried more and more. Jason was feeling complete betrayal. "What happened?" He asked. "My sister called and told me that she couldn't accept my sexuality. It angers me that she would call me here, at your house." Jason said. "I am sorry you have to deal with this. It's all my fault." Shawn said. "No it's not. I am the one who decided to follow my heart. I love you Shawn and nothing will ever stand in our way. Nothing." Jason said as Shawn read the determination in his eyes. "You're serious?" Shawn said, more as a statement than a question. "I am serious." Jason said as he kissed Shawn on the lips. What he had just said touched Shawn deeply as he started crying too. They cried together for a few minutes and then decided it was time for bed. They took off their work clothes and changed into their night clothes. Since it was Saturday, this would be the last night Jason could spend with Shawn. They had made an agreement with Jason's mom that on the weekends, Jason could spend the night, but on school nights he had to be at home. It was only so Jason could keep good grades, she knew that there would be distractions that would hurt his grade, and Shawn could be a BIG distraction. The climbed under the covers as Shawn started talking. "You know, I've been thinking. We have spring break coming up soon and I know we both need a vacation. What would you say if we went to the beach?" "I would love that idea." Jason said. He thought about it a little more and he liked the idea. "We could find one that accepts gay people so we don't have to act like we are straight." "So, it's a plan?" Shawn asked. "Let's do it." Jason said. "All right!" Shawn said as he kissed Jason on the cheek. "Boy, doesn't take much to please you." Jason said with a smile. "Do you know what else would make me happy?" He asked. "What might that be?" Jason asked. "This." Shawn said as he leaned over and started kissing Jason's. He responded and pulled of Shawn's night shirt. "Are you sure you want this?" Jason asked. Shawn nodded and kissed Jason again. They started rolling around the bed as they removed off their clothes. Jason wound up on the bottom as Shawn worked his way down, kissing his stomach and worked his path to Jason's groin. "Looks like I have your full attention here." Shawn said as he motioned towards Jason's middle. Jason laughed and then gasped as Shawn took it in his mouth. Shawn kept working until a bad memory flashed in his mind. Suddenly he stopped. Tears started coming to his eyes as Jason asked what was wrong. Shawn wouldn't answer but he let Jason take him in his arms. Jason rocked him back and forth until Shawn told him what was wrong. "I am such a failure. I can't give you myself because of what happened. Now you're going to leave me because of what happened and I can't deal with--" Shawn said between sobs. He could finish the last because the sobs took over again. "Shawn, look at me. Look at me." Jason said firmly as Shawn stopped crying and looked at him. "You are not a failure. We will get through this. It will take time for you to get over this. I am not going anywhere and I would never leave you." Jason said. Shawn smiled a little and laid his head on Jason's shoulder. After a few minutes, Shawn was quite and Jason realized he had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He gently laid down and laid Shawn down on his back. He caressed his face gently and whispered "I love you." and fell asleep. IT WAS JASON'S turn to wake up alone. After what had happened last night he was worried. "Shawn?" He called out. "Yes sweetie?" Shawn answered. "Where are you?" Jason asked. "I'm in the computer room." Shawn answered. "What time is it?" Jason asked. "Somewhere near noon." Shawn answered. "What? Why didn't you wake me?" Jason asked. "You were sleeping so peacefully and I didn't want to wake you." Shawn said. "You are so sweet." Jason said as he got out of the bed and put his boxers on and walked to the room. "I know." Shawn smiled. "Are you okay?" Jason asked. "Yeah, thanks for asking." Shawn said. He was busy typing on the computer. "How long have you been up?" Jason asked. "About two hours. I had some homework to do so I decided to get some done. I'm sorry about last night. I don't know what happened to me." Shawn said as he stopped typing and looked at Jason. They kissed before Jason said anything. "Baby, don't apologize for last night. It was something you had no control over." Jason said. "Are you hungry?" "No, I ate already. Your breakfast, now lunch, is in the fridge." Shawn replied. "You actually cooked?" Jason quipped. Shawn acted angry as he lightly punched Jason in the stomach. He was rewarded with a small "oooof" as Jason went into the kitchen. He opened the fridge door and smiled as he pulled out a plate wrapped in clear wrap. It was pieces of bacon and a biscuit, Jason's favorite. "I hope it's still good." Shawn called from the other room. "I'm sure it will be." Jason said as he placed the plate in the microwave. He pushed a few buttons as the microwave started. 'Doing homework isn't a bad idea.' He thought to himself. After his biscuit was cooked he took it to the computer room and started eating. Shawn and Jason talked for a few minutes before Jason decided to go get his book-bag and do some homework. His bag was in his car. He quickly returned and started his homework while Shawn did his. They did this for the next two hours. IT WAS AROUND five o'clock before they decided to do anything. Since Jason had to be home by eight, another rule by his mother, they decided eating at a fast food restaurant. Jason pulled into a parking spot and waited as Shawn pulled his Camaro beside Jason's. They took separate cars since they would wind up going separate ways. They walked into the small restaurant and got in line to order their food. They ordered their food, paid for it separately, and found a secluded table. They ate their food in pretty much silence as they thought about things. They were mainly thinking about school and grades, each other, and their life. They were done eating and still had an hour and a half left before Jason was due home. They thought about what they were going to do as they threw away their trash. Shawn suggested the park could be a good place to go. Sometimes it was deserted and they could have some privacy. Jason agreed as they walked out to their cars. Jason led the way to the park and Shawn was right, it was deserted. There were a few families at picnic tables, but they were no where near Shawn and Jason's secret spot. There was a big oak tree towards the end of the park. The limbs of the tree were so heavy that it was weighed down and covered the bottom trunk. Here Jason and Shawn could be together alone. For the next forty-five minutes they sat under the tree and talked. When the time was up, Jason had about fifteen minutes to get home. It was possible. They walked to their cars and said good-bye and that they would see each other at school. Jason was the first one to drive off, with Shawn behind him. Hope you guys enjoyed this.
